How Old! A Number of Years

Some birthdays just shout to have the age on them, and a 16th just shouts for a nice big number!

My daughter and her friends are turning 16 this year so I've made a few 16 cards recently and with the number being die cut, there is very little stamping, so these are great cards for beginners and let you show off some of that lovely designer paper we all buy and then don't know what to use it for or with.

This is a sneaky 6x6 inch card made from a piece of A4 - I've it down to 6x11.5 inches, score on the  long side at 6 inches, when you fold the card there will be a short front. The black panel is 6x5 inches, and lined up to shorter front, giving you a 1/2 inch colour of your base card, then the decoration is up to you!

For the boys I used similar layout on an A6 card base, with the addition of some stamping using the Amazing Birthday stampset!
