Some of you may know that last November I went to Brussels for On Stage Live - a Stampin' Up! Event for demonstrators to see new catalogues and products from them! I'm really excited to share these items with you but can't do that just yet! Don't worry - you'll not have to wait long!!
One thing us demonstrators really love is swooping ideas for using Stampin' Up! Products - swooping ideas is great, but we'd rather swop completed projects! I made some little gift pouches with tea in them!
And received this pile of treats in return!
My pouches were made from a piece of 6x6 DSP, cut down to a 5x5 square, I used the Envelope Punch Board (EBP), but not quite following the instructions.
I firstly scored (but didn't punch) using the EPB at 2 1/4 & 2 1/2, turned the paper 90 degrees, lined up the score lines (as you would if using it usually),
score & punch on the first line, and then just score the second line. Turn the paper 90 degrees again, this time score on the first line and punch & score on the second line.
You should only have scored on 3 sides as you want your envelope to remain opens at the top. Fold and burnish all the score lines and fold up to make the pouch. I decorated using the round & oval punches, cut 1inch strips and shaped using the Triple Banner Punch before stamping using the A Nice Cuppa stamp set:
And cut out a selection of mugs, teacups & teapots using the Cups & Kettle dies, which if brought together with the stamps are on a bundled buy with 15% off!
If you would like to purchase any of these items, they are currently in our Spring & Summer Catalogue until the end of May 2016!
