Bundled 'hello'

Sorry this didn't get up at the weekend but for some reason it wouldn't load the pictures!

A friend came around recently and said - you've loads of craft stuff, no wonder you're cards are so good! So I wanted to show that by mixing and matching your stash that you could get the most out of them - so over the next few posts I'm going to try and stick to some core items.
My favourite stamps at the moment are those that have matching punches - as I hate cutting out!  I've used Petite Petals and Flower Shop which can be brought as a bundle (saving 15%) with matching punches.
So I used a piece of Whisper White card folded in half for an A5 card blank.
I then trimmed a second piece of Whisper White to make to matting layers, one 14 x 20 cm and second 13 x 19 cm.  I've inked around the edge of the larger one in Smoky Slate and the smaller one in Pear Pizzazz.  I've used the scrap from the layers to stamp 'hello' from Four You word set in Pear Pizzazz, cut the end of the strip to look like ribbon and inked this.  I then used another strip of scrap to make a panel, inked this in Smoky Slate and used a background stamp to give it some texture - you could use the Gorgeous Grunge stamps for a similar effect.
I then used a third piece of Whisper White to stamp flowers in Smokey Slate and Pear Pizzazz, punched them out with the matching punches and layered them up.
I must confess I couldn't help sneaking in some Spellbinder Sprigs to give it alittle extra, but if you had the Bird Builder punch - this has a lovely little branch with leaves on.
I added some cosmic simmer PVA glues for a little extra sparkle, but you could leave the flowers plain or use some Crystal Effects.

I used the same items with a Spellbinder Nestie to do the cut out to make a quick card.

I think I should have stamped a background on the inner card - so that might be my next post.
