An Easy One to Start

As a new blogger it has taken me some time to get going, and hopefully I'll actually get this posted today!

The aim of this blog is just to show some of what I make and hopefully inspire others, I hope to post at least one new project every weekend.

Here's a Stampin' Up project for you.

I thought I'd start my projects with using as few different items as possible, so that new crafters wouldn't be put off thinking they need to buy loads and loads of items.

So I used Whisper White card stock, for the card base and background and to stamp the Mosaic Madness shapes.  And added a layer of Mirri card stock

The Mosaic shapes were stamped on spare cardstock and punched out using the matching punch.  I used Smoky Slate, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral & Crushed Curry.

I used the Smoky Slate to stamp 'for my wonderful mother' from the Delightful Dozen Stamp Set and one of the boarders across the card.  I then punched out one mosaic shape from the top of the card and stamped one mosaic on the base layer.  The additional mosaic shapes where attached using Dimensionals.
